Answer: There are two types of health expenditures

a. Public Health expenditure made by the government on citizens of the country

b. Private health expenditure made by individuals on themselves & their families

In 2020, Covid 19 has played a significant role in increasing both public and private health expenditure, while in recent years lifestyle diseases( Diabetes, obesity, heart failure, Alzheimer, COPD, Liver cirrhosis) among citizens have increase multifold that has to lead to an increase in health expenditure by both public & private.
