1. Use of career websites and employment oriented websites like LinkedIn: Employers have understood that to look for talent, they need not call for interviews and look at resumes. Then can screen through the desired profiles by using tools such as LinkedIn for hiring across geographies

2. Vedio Interviews: As an alternative to having physical face to face interviews, there are advanced technologies that can use video streaming to conduct interviews with desirable candidates no matter what their geographic location is

3. Use of Mobile devices: More and more employers are launching mobile apps on the AppStore for iPhone users. As the current generation are more comfortable in using mobiles, these apps help them look at jobs and apply for them through their mobiles

4. Use of cloud computing: Over the past several years, the human resource department has relied on the legacy system to complete tasks and store information. However, which cloud computing the storage space has become inexpensive and the employers are using cloud based system to store employee information.
