It refers to the virtual computer world and more specifically is an electronic medium used to form a global computer network to facilitate online communicaion. Naturally the MOD and SDF use cyberspace in all aspects of its activities such as policymaking, operation, personal affairs, public relations and reseach and development. Cyberspace is an essential infrastructure that supports various operation across the actual domains of land, sea, air and space.

Cyberspace is nothing more than a symbolic and figurative space that exists within the scope of internaet . Internet on the other hand, ia network of networks, what that means is that it is a global network that is creating by linking smaller networks of computer and servers.

Much as a commander can call for an artillery strike, cyber can play an immediate and tangible role on the modern battlefield.

Cyber operatin can paralyze enemy communcation, cut cell networks, corrupt computer system with malicious code or even shape the battlefiled by attacking networked infrastructure .
