Immunity can be portrayed as either dynamic or latent, contingent upon how it is procured:

Active immunity includes the generation of antibodies by the body itself and the consequent advancement of memory cells

Passive immunity comes about because of the obtaining of antibodies from another source and henceforth memory cells are not created

Active immunity will bring about long haul insusceptibility yet inactive resistance will not (because of the nearness or nonappearance of memory cells)

Both active and passive immunity can be prompted by either characteristic or manufactured instruments

Examples of Active Immunity

• Normal – Producing antibodies because of presentation to a pathogenic contamination (i.e. test and reaction)
• Artificial – Producing antibodies because of the controlled presentation to a constricted pathogen (i.e. immunization)

Examples of Passive Immunity

• Normal – Receiving antibodies from another creature (e.g. to the baby through the colostrum or an infant by means of bosom drain)
• Artificial – Receiving produced antibodies through outer conveyance (e.g. blood transfusions of monoclonal antibodies)
