Maternal health have great importance in society health because womans in child bearing age (15-45) are very vital to society . If there is any deviation in health of woman it leads to deleterious effect on their child family and society because womans perform so many task of their child and family so the care of child will hampered

* Infant and child health is very important to society because they are the future of the nation . Health problems to infant and children will affect the health of their families and it leads to bad effect on society . Morbid state (Disease condition) of infant and children leads to mortality and it create so many problems in society  

Infant Mortality Rate and Child Mortality Rate and Maternal Mortality Rate are important demographic indicator of society health  

Increase in above rates indicate bad health status of society.

These are very important things to know for someone because he/she is aware about the consequences of inadequate health status of maternal , infant ,child health then only he/she can make the correction toward the disturbed health of all above .
