Answer: Maternal mortality: It has been found that in the year 2017, near about 800 women died everyday due to lack of preventable measures that could be taken. The death rates increases and the risk also elevates with the age. The age plays major role in the maternal mortality. Near about 94% of the deaths occurs in the middle income countries.

The death occurs due to various reasons and some of them are:

  • Severe bleeding
  • Infections
  • High blood pressure during pregnancy
  • Unsafe abortion
  • Unsafe abortion
  • Malnutrition cause complications.
  • Poor care due to poverty.

The lives of the women can be saved through various methods and taking proper care as well as precautions. The high blood pressure should be managed and proper treatment should be provided throughout the pregnancy. In the case of the delivery, healthcare professionals should be more conscious to prevent the hospital acquired infection. Awareness and information should be provided to the people.
