Fungi are everywhere, and they are strikingly like us. What interesting facts have you learned about the fungi that you did not know before? What do we share in common, how are we different? Share what you have learned with others, including things we may not have mentioned in class.
Interesting facts about fungi:
1.They are immobile so dispence around world with spore riding on air currents.
2.They are genetically and chemically very similar to animals making fungal disesase difficult to treat.
3.Most fungi are decomposers.they recycle nutrients by secreting digestive enzymes that break down the bodies of other organisms and then absorbs nutrients.
4.they are very important for our eco system as they help dead plants and crop biodegrade back into the earth.
5.exactly same looking fungi may have opposite character one may be edible and one may be very poisonous.
