Solutions

Expert Solution

When talking to professors that language, which compromises of semantics and syntax is more rigid, that is, it is more formal and professional and the body language in turn is stiff as well to corroborate with the language. This is conducive and important in maintaining a formal relationships.

Whereas, while talking to friends, the semantic use and the syntax is more fluid and the vocabulary is more informal and consists of more slang than actual full words and hence is more free ranging and open, which makes the relationship one of informal nature and comfortable as well.

Theatter is what makes one feel comfortable as there are no bounds on how an individual is supposed to talk or interact and there is freedom of language and speech.

Language and intimacy are tow variables that have a causal relationship and one effects the other.
