Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation is the intravenous infusion of multipotent hematopoietic stem cells usually derived from bone marrow , umbilical cord blood or peripheral blood. It may be autogenic or allogeneic.

In simple words, allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant is the transfer of healthy bone marrow from a donor to a recepient with damaged bone marrow . It majoly used in chemotherapy.

Graft versus Tumor effect is a positive response in which T cels from donor cell attcak the malignant cells of recepient.

GvT effect mediated by T lymphocytes from donor by allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation is most popular form of cellular chemotherapy.

The T cell from donor have an anti tumor effect by targeting antigen released by malignant cells.
