Vacate people's house to make a place for a new shopping mall

Development is very important and a new shopping mall is an exciting idea. But development at the cost of people's house is not that exciting. The development initiatives should be implemented in an economy in a manner which helps the local citizens and also develops the place.

When people are evacuted from their house to make a new shopping mall, then the people have to be shifted to some other place. So by uprooting the people to new unknown places result in socio economic and cultural disruption and disturbs the connectivity of the local communities. The rehabilation schemes would have helped people to get some material benefits but the loss of the people's status, community ties,support structures are all unattended.

So, a proper monitoring commission must be implemented to look after the rehabilation process and it should be very effective. Then only we can say that proper development of the economy is taking place, because the emotional well being of the people is also very essential part of community development and thus a proper development of the economy as whole will happen.
