The company is committed to reducing it's environmental impacts. All of the company operations, stores , offices and warehouses will run on renewable energy. They are working with its suppliers and manufacturers to reduce their impact too , investing in technologies that will improve operations and working to diminish the amount of waste generated. Since its becoming clear that innovation has a big part with tackling sustainable challenges, gucci is developing new solution by applying technical in its production.

In an open letter worker at the gucci outlet said " It was a kind of torture for us to stand for more than 14 hour a day and no short rest , water or food was allowed even for a pregnant employee " . There breaks were  limited to a maximum of five minutes.
