to begin the initiative for standardised protocol for patient care. we have to collect primary data. because regarding patient care we should observe and collect data directly , so that we can get accurate data without any confounding. it will be fresh and original data.

type of data:

type of dat is qualitative data. which needs to collect by means using instruments like observation, interview, questionnaire etc.

benefits of primary qualitative data:

• it is fresh.
• we can able to get original data
• we can get valid data
• data interpretation will be good
• we can target the issue directly.
• control over the data.
• the participant can take their own time to give answer.
• we can get honest response.
• we can collect larger volume of data.
• indepth data we can get.
• instead of numerical we will geta qualitative data.

weaknessof these data:

• time consuming.
• depend on the responders interest he/she will answer or not.
• the reponder can easily skip questions.
• the responder may provide socially un-acceptable answer.
• chance of getting invalid data.
• responder may not allow others to read about him.
