Expert Solution

Answer. The labor force who are a part of trade union are the people who form a group to protect their rights and protest to claim their interests. Some reasons for the decline in labor force forming union are as follows:-

• Such Union are not needed when their is good exonomic trend and when exonomic trends are bad then forming such unions worsens the situation as it leads to more layoff, strikes and less production. This situation is bad for both the lovor force as well as the employer as no production is taking place and no paying of wages are made.

• The image of such unions are not good and are seen as dangerous people who can go to any limits to satisfy their wants and interests. Thus it’s brand yhe trade union with a bad image.

• In modern times it considered good for both th employer and the workers to work harmoniously and thus in the recent tomes both enter into mutual agreement in which the terms and conditions are favoured for both the workers and the employers.

The future of union is very much different than what it is nowadays. Presently union used to protest, engage in biolent behavious, burnt places but eventually they got nothing in hand and were laid off and sent behind the bars. This made them rethink their strategy for gaining their lost interests and rights. Thus, in the future times the union will resort to silent and non violent protests which are considered more efficient and efeective for the workers as no loss of property is done and majorly the loss is borne by the employer due to loss in production and thus the employers come forward for a mutual agreement.

Also in the future the relationship between the employer and the labor will improve and thusthe labor will not resort to such protests as both will work on a mutually agreed agreement. But there is a slight chance of danger as the production nowadays usually involve production through machines and thus the technology has improved which has led to less requirement of labor. Thus, forming a labor force union will be of no use.

The worker can improvise their skills and talents to reverse this situation. They certainly cannot be more productive than the machines but with their improved skills they can produce products of good quality. Labor force must also imbibe values which might help them in their futute prospects as this is considered as a good favtor while employing labor force.
