According to The Center for Disease Control The characteristics of U.S. adults with hypertension are unaware of their hypertension. How would you use this information from the CDC to propose an improvement in caring for these patients?
Blood pressure more than 130/80 mm of Hg is termed as hypertension.Hypertension is one of the most important precursor for many heart diseases and stroke.Hypertension is said to be silent killer as there is no signs and symptoms at initial stages.
I would use the information from the CDC to empower the people to get insured so that they go for regular healthcare visits which may be very helpful in diagnosing high blood pressure at initial stages and also it can be prevented. I would also use the information to plan a health education teaching nationwide about preventive measures and modification of life style factors for hypertension. Hypertension is a very dangerous condition so school teaching programmes can be initiated , so the school age children and adolescents may come to know about the prevention strategies for hypertension like physical activity and nutrition .Obesity may also be a risk factor for hypertension.
Thus these are some measures which can be implemented to improve the care of people.
