Baby Boomers are defined as the people who were born between 1946 and 1964. As per the statistics around 8000 of them reach the age of 65 every day estimating around 1/3 rd population of the country.

• This aging generation will effect the healthcare system by creating a variety of jobs in the healthcare.People workingin the healthcare sectors will resign .
• There will be rising cost of Medicare and the federal insurance plan for above the age group of 65 years which will affect the economy of the country.
• The workforce ares will have a change inorderto meet the demands ofthe boomer generation as in today's healthcre workers are themselves a part of this generation.
• The health and the life style of this boomer generation us differant than the previous generation hence will have chronic diseases .About 1 on every 4 live with  diabetis,  about half live with arthritis and 1/3rd are obese living with the health problems with obesity.

The marketing stratergies used for the baby boomers are as follows,

• Most of the baby boomers use smart phones so the content for marketing should have proper font and formatting which is suitable for this group.
• Avoid using abbrevations in the content as baby boomers may not understand if the contant has abbrevations in it.
• Baby boomers are very smart educated people who will only falls on catchy headlines. So the marketing content should have headlines which is more economical and relevant headlines.
• Baby bloomers are more attracted to facebook. Hence facebook is the best stratergy to reach the baby bloomers.
• Do not talk to this generation saying they are old and does not know about the new technologies. This will offend them.
• Always promote any services to them with promises that can be achieved.
• Baby bloomers are the well educated and well experienced group of people, the content should be made in a way which will treat them fairly.
