Ans) Morality is the conceptual understanding or perception of what is right and wrong. This understanding, however, is greatly influenced by socio-environmental, cultural factors and child rearing practices. The concept of morality is measured and defined by a number of factors, and moral development is contextual to individual difference. I believe that technology is slowly dehumanising the interpersonal relationships of individuals and substituting them with impersonal social experiences through technological interactions. As a result, it could be suggested that increases in impersonal interactions may occur, and there may be a decrease in adaptive moral development and increased immoral behaviour. As adaptive moral development occurs through positive social interactions and interpersonal situations in childhood and adolescence, factors such as conflict resolution and self-regulation may not develop effectively and these may negatively influence effective moral development. even though technology has advanced the global community in many areas, I believe it is demonstrating increased negative attributes to humans as well.
