• There is a growing scope for microbiologists. They are needed in the field of developing research, assessing the samples in the clinical environment , in food industry to assess the quality of the products and conduct experiments in samples for contamination.
• Mycologists and industrial microbiologists produce biofuels and biomass.
• In the field of agriculture , microbiologists are involved in producing genetically engineered crops.
• There are many types of microbiologists . They are parasitologists, Bacteriologist , environmental microbiologist, clinical microbiologist, Viriologist, Public health microbiologist and mycologist.
