Provision of care
According to this standard, a nurse is supposed to use all the sources of information to come up with the most appropriate and suitable care plan. The standard primarily emphasizes on the use of different techniques, skills, observations, examinations, calculations, data interpretations, proper monitoring and maximum utilization of health care technology according to the given guidelines. In the profession of nursing practice, if these standards are being followed in a proper manner then maximum result in caring units can be gained with full efficiency.
Reflective and analytical practice
This standard emphasizes more on operations inside the safety and quality guidelines. It encourages the enrolled nurses in participating more in activities of quality improvement relevant to their area of occupation. Different exercises are organized that make them work within the multi-disciplinary team and contributing as well as analyzing risk and applying different methods to minimize risk. Understanding, reporting and documenting safety code of conducts as per the policies of the organization and legislation are taken care of under this standard. In nursing practice, these skills are going to be very handy for a very long time.
