1. DESCRIPTION OF AGENCY:

Agency is defined as an organisation which work is to help others. it is a type of health care given to the client outside of hospital. it includes day boarders, half way home, shelters, oldage home etc which is having one or more physician and one or more staff nurse. these homes are usually run by many agencies like WHO, UNICEF, USAID, NHM and many more. these agency has run many health related programs and projects like immunisation, mamata scheme,JSY, JSE, communicable disease program and many non-communicable disease program etc.

2. its works and how that contributes to health of the community:

• ​​it helps in collecting data regarding vital statistics and different diseases. which helps in identifying the statistics of disease.
• it helps in developing policies and maintaing the policy in protecting community
• identifying problems and providing actions in forms of solution.
• it provides funds for implementing any action and also leading in implementing.
• it helps in engaging research activities.
• maintaining quality in forms of doing ICDS , JSY, Swachha bharat abhiyan yojana etc.
• it provides innovative way to solve the problem and helps in identifying research questions.
• it provides many community workers like ASHA, awwS, LHV, MPHW etc.
• encouraging training for the community workers.

3. The characterictics of the client serve:

it mainly serves the vulnerable peoples like as follows:

• orphan children
• pregnant woman
• widow
• children of slum area
• geriatric adults
• people who are suffering from social stigma
• communicable disease suffered people
• school going children
• breast feeding mother and baby
• those who are homeless

4. The role of nursagency:e in

• in agency the nurse has to travel directly to the patients location for care
• the key role of nurse isto assess the patient health status.
• then provide as much firstaid care she can and medications also.
• if the patient is serious the she has the duty to transfer the client to the hospital by ambulance or any other way
• she has the role of creating awareness among people door to door and to reach the unrechable.
• she has to counsel the client for many health matters like use of contraceptive method, about spacing, use of mosquito, about immunisation, nutrition of pregnant mother, screening for disease, cleanliness.
• she is also maintaining documentation.
• sometimes she also has to work as a trainer for less experienced staff nurse and for the other staff like ASHA, AWW, etc
