A description of the agency : Care of Communities:
Community health nursing class will meet several times on clinical
visit and exams. This is a Project.This will continue until the
course complete.Community agencies will observe the order
description.
It's work and how that contributes to the health of the
community:
Community health workers perform a wide range of vital
health care roles that includes
1, They need to supervise and treat the peoples with serious
illness for their healthy lives.
2,They will work as a counselors need to help for poor peoples to
get quality health care.
3,They will provide health education for thier entire family
members to avoid communicable diseases.
The characteristics of the clients served:
1, Monitoring client's well-being.
2,Provide emotional support and get feedback from
them.
3,Provide some Recreational and physical
activies.
4, Assist clients with personal hygeine and
grooming..i.e bathing,oral hygiene...
The role or potential role for nurses within the agency:
Nurse must acts as a teacher and counselor with community.They
must work in different areas including the schools,child health and
other fields. Community health nurse might be specialist in
teaching includes prevention of infectious disease,maternal and
child nutrition requirements and about Immunization. Providing
education about water safety and personal hygiene.
My experiences:
Week 1 (june 19,2002) As a nurse my experience in community
health throughout of career i have focused in both hospital
settings and non-hospital settings..I have throught about health
and wellness to the vulnerable people..Educated them from serious
illness and prevention of communicable diseases..visited many
school programmes for administrating vaccination for childrens.
