your description should include: - An organized progression of travel. What organs does the air travel through? What types of tissues and structures are seen within them? For example - it is not adequate to say that air is inhaled via the nose, you should include a description of where the nose is found and where air will progress (i.e. Air is inhaled via the nares in the facial region, and progresses posterior through the nasal cavity towards the naso-pharynx.)

The overview of respiratory system -

As for the Inspiration the air is inhaled via anterior nares in the facial region then air passes down the pharynx which is the part of throat present behind mouth and nasal cavity and above esophagus & larynx .

This air enters the larynx which is guarded by the small flap of tissues called as epiglottis , which closes automatically during swallowing and prevents food & drinks to enter into airways. The trachea which is a cartilaginous tube connects larynx to bronchi of lungs and becomes the first part of lower respiratory tract. Now the trachea divides into two bronchi which further divides into small bronchioles from bronchioles the air is conducted into alveoli the small air-sacs.

The alveoli are in close proximity to blood vessels where gaseous exchange takes place and inhaled oxygen is transported to all the organs via blood.

After this inspiration expiration takes place.
