A training needs analysis refers to the process by which business organization defines the training needs, which are required for the individuals, group along with the team. The focus is on the job role are included as well as skills along with the knowledge are required in order to perform the job effectively. The training need analysis includes the 3 levels that is organizational, job as well as individual. The level of examination are the hierarchy depends on the organizational along with the personal level. Different levels include:

Organizational level: This analysis aimed at different focus areas for training within the business organization along with the factors, which may affect the same. It is important because it assists in identifying the areas of weakness as well as identifying the approaches for the eliminating the issues

Job level: It include the objective assessment of job, which needs to take into consideration the work oriented and the task oriented. It is important because it helps in examining the performance and the organizational productivity.

Individual level: This analysis assists in identifying the requirements of training in the appropriate and specific area. This analysis can conduct by questionnaire, and 360 feedback. It is important because it helps in identifying the requirements of training of individual.
