Ethics in Accounting and Business Question
What other loyalties should employers expect from employees? What loyalties should employees expect from the companies they work for?
Loyalties expect from employees:
1.They tell you what you least want to hear
For example, your direct reports may sometimes take a different position or even tell you that you are wrong. Their direct reports are much less likely to state a position other than yours.
2. They never criticize you in front of others:
Bash The boss is a game almost every employees plays , atleast occasionally.Partlythey criticize you because it's a way of letting off steam ,but mostly they do it because we all think , atleast some of the time ,that we can do a better job than the person we work for.
3.Hard work and our best way effort likely make sense as obligations we owe an employer.
4. Employee should act the way which benifit to the employer.
Loyalties expect from employer by the employees:
1.Promote From within whenever possible.
Avoid hiring outside talent unless there is no other option. promoting from within, and shifting existing staff into different roles, tell them they aren't just expendable cogs.
2.Downsize only as a last report.
Some employers let people go at the first sign of reduced profit .the message is that people will be discarded at will.If you do have to cut staff due to unfixably poor performance or a company crisis downsize with dignity.
3. Hire Friends and family of staff.
Few things make a new work place more inviting than familiar, loving faces. So enable employees to recommend people they are close to for openings.
4. Invest in Employee training.
Another approach to acting loyally is upgrading the skills and knowledge of staff. It says you are in this with them for the longer run.part of this might be assisting them with personal career planning.
