an advance health care directive ia also called as living will ,personal directive,advance directive ,medical directive,advance decision ,is a legal document in which a person specify what actions should be take for their health if they are no longer able to to make decision for them selfs because of their illness or incapacitting .

- in the U.S it hs a legal status itself ,whereas in some countries is in legally persuative with out being legal document .

living will is one form of advance directive leaving instructions for treatment .
