A research proposal is a document which helps to convince others that the research should have clear ideas and pictures and required abilities to complete the research on time. It provides direction and guidelines to the research activities. It includes title, abstract, introduction, literature review, methods, and results. Institutional Review Board (IRB) provides rights and protects the research activities. It authorizes, monitor, approve, and modify the research activities through the policies and regulations. It completely reviews the research background and its implications. Funding is an important part of the grant proposal. Research proposal helps to get sufficient fund for the research project. The proposal should be well written and planned to meet the necessity of the funding agency. Awarding grant should assess the objectives, strategies, and budget for the specific research activities. If the proposal is rejected, the researcher should revise and resubmit the proposal again for funding. It is a long time process and time-consuming. Some agencies will fund only for the specific subjects of research. Each funding agencies has its own criteria for submitting the proposals. The components of the proposal consist of summary, introduction, problem statement, program objectives, method, evaluation, budget, appendices, and cover letter. It tells the reader about the sample of the research activities. It gives a brief introduction to the subject topic. It gives the readers the key elements of the proposal. It gives sufficient information of the proposed research to the readers. It convinces the readers about the research ideas and goals.
