disadvantages of structured data:

  1. here the respondent having limitation to speak in interview method
  2. in questionnaire method we are restricted to ask only closed ended question , so we are unable to collect indepth data.
  3. in observation method it time consuming as the observer has to wait for the behaviour under study. here only over behaviour can be study and not possible to control all variables.
  4. in questionnaire method analysis is time consuming. difficult to construct questions and the control over question may be loss.

disadvantages of unstructured data:

  1. case study method can only be used in a limited sphere. it is not possible to apply in big society.
