Today, with many educational choices available to students, new developments are emerging in this area that has changed the conventional understanding of education in India fully. Several career opportunities which were previously not considered conventional have emerged as the most sought-choices for education and career. Many new opportunities for education have been opened up by numerous job choices such as radio jockeying, radio management, news anchoring, program anchoring, news reading and reporting for electronic media, content writing, fashion design, event management, hospital management, medical transcription, etc.
Formation has remained essentially unchanged for over a century. A classroom full of students who are deferring to the guidance of an all-knowing professor is, and many assume, the agreed mode of instruction should continue. Despite various technical advancements and the emergence of modern pedagogical ideas, this conventional approach continues to be used by most classrooms of today.
At the same time it is getting smaller and bigger. Our world is diminishing as innovations now allow us to connect with peers around the world both synchronously and asynchronously. Conversely, the flood of knowledge that we now have extends our worldview. Education has to change as a result of the ability to communicate internationally and the increase of information. Many teachers do not want to adapt, but the change is coming–it's a matter of when not if. The challenge is to prepare today's children for a world that has yet to be developed, for jobs that have yet to be invented, and for innovations that are still undreamed of
The teacher's current teaching paradigm as the knowledge holder and transferor is changing to a teacher's new paradigm as facilitator or coach. This new instructor will include immersive learning opportunities that involve students in interactive activities involving collaboration and access to knowledge that can only be provided by technology. The development of the machine and the internet over the last few years has been staggeringly rapid. A machine that used to fill a whole building in 1965 has around the same capacity as a modern cellphone
