Infosys is one of the largest IT companies in India (Headquarters Bangalore) It has offices worldwide and was voted as the best employer in the country in many HR surveys The Company is well acclaimed for its employee-friendly HR practices.
Analyzation of Human Resources Practices:
1) Recruitment Policy: The organization promotes a planned, objective approach to undertake recruitment. It helps recruiters to examine if candidates have the required skill set for the job and at the same time implement the organization's policy on the provision of Equal Opportunities in employment.
2) Selection Policy: The selection panel will examine how each skill within the candidate specification and a candidate is required to go through presentations, testing, In-tray exercises and group discussions.
3) Performance Appraisal: The objective of the performance appraisal aims to analyze the performances of the employees, help the management stabilize organizational control, identify the opportunity areas, Offer information to aid personal decisions and to condense the grievances of the employees.
4) Compensation: Infosys provides Bonuses, overtime policy, Retirement benefits, Insurance, and hospitalization.
5) Training and Development: TCS provided various training to the employees which aims to develop the employees' competency, improve their work experience, and help grow people within the organization.

Analyzation of Human Resources Practices-
The Tata Consultancy Services Ltd is an information technology service, consultant and business oriented company. It is operated in North and South Americas, Middle East, Europe and Africa with headquarters in Mumbai, India.
TCS has a standard set of practices for maintenance of its HR practice described below in detail.
1) Selective Hiring: TCS recruitment process is based on hiring policy which includes fresh and experienced candidates. Candidates apply for positions through sources like advertisements, websites and job portals, placement fairs, agencies, TCS data bank that is done through combining the sourcing of resumes. Recruitment is also done locally from geographical areas that the company operates.
2) Self- Managed Teams or Team Working: TCS assigns employees to work as a team or group wherein such team is given material to accomplish their work in a successive manner. Each team has a team leader who keeps a check on the progress of the work and all the team leads passes on their work to the project leader. This improves work continuity and flow is carried out efficiently throughout the workflow.
3) High Pay Contingent on Company Performance: As a company, it gives an opportunity to work in a team and decide on their pay as a team.This practice does not possess any conflict among the team members. Each such team is formed on the basis of trust, harmonization, collaboration in the team etc..
4) Extensive Training: As soon as an employee joins on the first-day training starts which continues for a period of three months. Training is given throughout the entire period of work in the company, that is, from the training period till the end date of work in TCS. Training is also given to the employees whenever new techniques or platforms are introduced.
