As a professional nurse ,there are many occation where the citation comes as an important one In the field of nursing and I used citation while documenting like nurses notes ,conducting nursing research and many other forms of written communication .

APA is the most commonly used citation style in professional nursing globally because it shares the current advances and updates in the Nursing and it support the logical and analytical writing which is very necessary in the professional Nursing .

In the field of professional nursing ,writing is considered as the important component of communication skill .The use of citation or APA help the professional nurse to communicate clearly and accurately through the writing because it is very important for the nurse to develop precise and logical documents to provide quality care to the client .

When a nurse perform documentation like nurses note ,which is considered as the legal documentation and it is very critical that the information included in this should be clear ,accurate ,consice , and logical .Through the use of citation ,it makes clear that whose work is being represented .The citation also provide clear standards for writing the nursing research by supporting the arguments with evidence or credibility .it also helps to upload intellectual honesty in the professional nursing .
