How do the media portray the pain experience associated with childbirth? What impact can these media portrayals have on pregnant women as they anticipate their labor and birth experience?
Child birth is a process of delivering baby after completion of pregnancy by a woman. Which is the most expected fruitful life for a young couple to form a complete family.
Mother's who are going to experience their first delivery ,will generally and obviously think about the pain during the entire process.Now a days media plays a vital role to give an idea to this pregnant women about the delivery duration,signs,and the level of pain ,how to overcome it by telling them the random way.
Media gives them a positive mind also,which telecasts the happy family after the pain
Instead there are women who is scared after getting the knowledge and opting for C - section as a choice to avoid this pain.
The portrayal of normal child birth are often missing, showing abnormal child birth which creates a fear for the expecting mother
