These enables us to monitor the health of baby during the period of pregnancy. Various inborn diseases can easily be treated with proper diagnosis. This leads to healthy child births. Healthy births are important aspect of nation building.

Healthy child leads to helathy population. Healthy population leads to a healthy nation. Countries with high child mortality rates are considered backward.

IVF techniques, Ultrasound, Genetic diagnosis of diseases etc. are some of the adavancements in medical line which are making impossible things possible. Social workers work for betterment of society. Healthy pregnancy and healthy childbirth also leads to a better society with better health perspectives.
