This is mostly true for the factories of course the factories need energy to run the machines and those energies come from some non renewable sources they might produce some harmful gases like carbon dioxide Sulphur dioxide harmful oxides of sulphur also they produce a lot of waste mostly of plastics and even toxic materials, some companies riddles with radioactive substances they also produce vests which contain radioactive waste pictures of course very harmful for the environment.

Companies must be investing in research and development so that their product refractories produces less and less waste and their waste should be more or less recyclable or reusable.
