Environmental issues have become critical concerns of businesses in recent years. Therefore, Environment Ministries in different countries is urging organizations to consider adopting the ISO 14000 Environmental Management Standards. Evaluate FOUR (4) challenges among the Malaysian companies to receive ISO14000 so explaining in detail ?

Environment ministries a oft Malaysia are promoting the implementation of ISO14000 standards.

Every country faces challenge in implementation of new standards.

So as per the question's demand The Challenges Faced among Malaysian Companies were--.

1)Unrealistic managers that have false goals to portray their organisation as the best and show them in the better light than justified.They claim to be the best but tha fact is that they are just showing off ..so this thing was one of the biggest Challenge for them

2) Setting the correct goals by Malaysian Companies--A company knows its own capabilities and limitations best and should be able to set realistic goals. In theory this can allow very conservative, easy-to-attain goals to be set simply for the sake of attaining certification.

3) Ineffective Problem Solving Techniques--Most organisations find that once they understand their environmental issues and impacts, implementing ISO 14000 is relatively simple. In some cases however, it can be significantly more complex. Sometimes a detailed statistical analysis may need to be carried out, with the necessary statistics being hard to record and more difficult to analyse.

4)No Transparency Towards Employees--Ensuring the correct information is shared with all employees is another major challenge of ISO 14000 implementation. Frequently, information about the implementation process is not disseminated to the levels required for the maximum return possible.This was the reason of many certification failure and affected a lot.
