We have all watched someone perform either in a sports competition, a musical performance, a presentation or speech, or any kind of contest. Write a cause-and-effect essay that explains how a person's ability and other factors shape how he or she performs?
Individuals perform at different
platform and their performance is backed by their abilities to make
them able to perform. So, there is a causal relationship between
the abilities and performance. It is the ability that becomes a
cause to make a person deliver a performance. Though, there are
different factors also that accompany the abilities so that a
complete or decent performance is delivered. The first factor is
the internal motivation to achieve a particular goal, or objective
or result that drives the person in his or her pursuit. The
presence of abilities combined with motivation brings belief to
achieve success in performance.
The second factor is a phase wise training program that hones and
abilities and readies the person with the necessary skills. It adds
capabilities to the person where the abilities are now well tested
in real environment. It makes the person better prepared to deliver
and it brings confidence in that person.
The third factor is the learning environment and support offered to
the person. A good learning environment can accelerate the learning
process and the person is better capable of delivering a
performance. In contrast to it, a team support helps the person to
take necessary risks to reach the next level. It acts as a boost to
the person.
Here, it is important to note that it is the ability that is
necessary for the performance, but there are several other factors
that give a shape to the abilities and make the person to have
self-belief upon his or her abilities so that the performance of
highest level is delivered. Hence, there is a causal relationship
between the ability and the performance. For example, there are
athletes, engineers and other professionals who perform on a day to
day basis, but their abilities always accompany the necessary
support in terms of training, support and motivation.
