Competitions begins where resources are scarce .we humans have a tendency of being the superior one which has led to this competitive environment. At that moment when there's less resources more people, the war for survival begins. And one approach may be our possibilistic approach where one school of thought believes that we can determine the course of environment and to prove this we have went far in civilisation. Another reason is our need for greatness. we humans are drawn to competition, and it says that our chances for survival on earth is determined by the competition and competitive nature ensures better qualities in individuals . When we talk about basketball , football and base ball we can consider the ball as a limited resource and the 2 teams compete with one another to get the ball. So here the skills and characteristics to play is the deciding factors to play the game . The whole thing works on the principle of survival of the fittest . The chances in the game is limited and the players who play well remain in the game for long .
