.Centralized and decentralized service offer some challenges to the food service .what are these challenges and how they are best addressed please explain ?
There are industries like Health care industry, airline industry, where we need to apply centralized and decentralized food service system. With such system, we could face several challenges, these are as stated below:
All such challenges can be handled tactfully, for example: using advanced technology, we can improve productivity level but we require demand in other hand, so such increasing productivity would be meaningful. Further, increase in demand will create economies of scale through implementation of such centralized and decentralized food service system. Shift system and scheduling of workers can be managed by bringing rotational shift system and by keeping more flexibility to the workers. Such heavy funding requirements can be addressed and managed through raising funds from Bank, financial institute. Further, quality control is considered. We require maintaining quality level of the food and its service system with addressing all the challenges.
