What types of resources are available to global populations in terms of learning about nutrition and healthy eating? What are three challenges communities and global populations have in accessing these resources and how can these be overcome? What specific nutritional knowledge and skills that you learned about in this course had the most impact on you personally? Were there any areas that you wished you could have learned more? Resources available in communities:
Food and nutrition programs and services in community and primary health centers, Supplemental nutrition assisstant programs, special implementation of nutritional programs for women, pregnant mothers, infants and children, Hunger and food security resources, Food distribution programs, nutrition services for seniors, monthly community meal calender and food banks, etc.
Resources available in global population:
World health organisation, USAID for improving nutritional status of women and young children, World food program, food and agricultural organisation, world bank, food fortification initiative, 1000 days, CARE, Save the children etc.
