How does the Fall of Man relate to tragedies like 9/11 and disasters such as the Tsunami of 2004? Explain how your reaction to evil events has caused you to reassess your worldview.
The fall of man is said to be occuring after the creation of world post Satan's rebellion in heaven. God essentially spoke of everything as existing in this account. and pronounced it as 'good'. The fall of man was caused by Adam’s sin. Sin is any human behavior, word, or thought that is contrary to the perfection of God. Because of Adam’s sin, God placed a curse upon the world, the people, the animals, the plants, and the very ground. Their cursed state had them to guard areas suggested by the creator. Man was then cursed enough to stay in doomed state, They were forced to search for their own food and shelter, women had to suffer in childbirth and fight their battles at every step while they sustained themselves on the surface of this earch. This was essentially enforced upon them due to their disobedience and misconduct. This is closely linked to disasters such as 9/11 and Tsunami as suggested by many scholars and researchers. The Fall of man suggests that anything evil happening which culminates into the suffering of man is due to the sin committed by him. One's reaction to evil events does change upon pondering on these philosophical doctrines. The outlook then tends to be more compassionate and empthatetic, yet repentful in terms of becoming mindful, watchful and God fearing.
