1. How do the three criteria for an experimental design, manipulation, randomization, and control minimize bias and decrease threats to internal validity?
2. Why do researchers state that randomized clinical trials provide the strongest evidence for an individual study when using an evidence-based model?
3. How does intervention fidelity increase the strength and quality of the evidence provided by the findings of a study using these types of designs?
4. What is your cosmic question?
1.Resercher must be focus on the intended outcome.Increase the validity of an experiment by controlling more variables, improving measurement technique, increasing randomization to reduce sample bias, blinding the expiriment, and adding control .
The resercher meet the following criteria; a.Control and expirimental group b.Researcher- manipulated variable c.Random assignment These are three criteria that must be met in order for an expiriment to be determined as true expiriment. These criteria enables minimizing bias,as well as decrease threats to internal validity of the experiment.
2.Randomized Clinical Trial (RCT) is a type of scientific experiment that aims to reduce only when participants are randomly allocated to the group receiving the treatment and a control group.Mainly, a small population from the sample is used as a control while the other group receives the test treatment. In the case of evidence- based practice model refers to integrated system, which comprises of clinical expertise, patients values and avilable evidences are used to decide the course of medical treatment and healthcare assessment of the patients.
3.Intervention fidelity is an intervention by the interventionist as set forth in the reserch plan,is fundemental to the inference of validity in research. It consists of key components are Intervention design, training of providers, intervention delivery, receipt of intervention, enactment of skills gained from the intervention .Intervention fidelity is an important aspect of designing and implimenting intervention effectiveness studies.Assessment of intervention fidility not only is important for replication of the study but also provides crucial information to reserchers for interpreting the effects of the intervention.Preserving the components that made the original practice effective can directly impact the success of desired outcome.
