Question

In: Chemistry

How many moles are in 20.2 g of Fe(NO3)2

How many moles are in 20.2 g of Fe(NO3)2

Solutions

Expert Solution

Given, mass of Fe(NO3)2 = 20.2 gm

Molar mass of Fe(NO3)2 = 179.8548 gm/mol

As we know,

number of moles = mass / molar mass

                                                 = 20.2 gm / 179.8548 gm/mol

                                                 = 0.1123 moles

Thus, 20.2 g of Fe(NO3)2 contains 0.1123 moles.
