Media plays critical role in sustaining democratic system in any country. Honest media leads to rise in participation of people in democratic institutions and government tends to act in most responsible and accountable manners.

But in reality, in this information society, there has been lack of corresponding rise in informed society. Media depends on revenue for sustaining itself. Thus, they tends to support certain political opinions that is most damaging thing to democratic institutions.

In following way, media organisation can be held responsbile for their behavior:

• There must not be monopolisation of media industry. Monopolised media dooes not represent true public opinions and tends to act in most irresponsible manner.
• Media houses must make self regulatory agency that may keep strict watch on activities of these houses.
