7 9 9 3 5 What is the mean, medium and mode? Is this data best described as normal, positively skewed, or negatively skewed? Justify your answer.

Since the sample size n=5 is odd, we have that (n+1)/2=(5+1)/2=3 is an integer value, the median is computed directly by finding the value located at position 3rd, which is
median = 7
The mode is the most common observation.
Hence Mode = 9
Since the mean (6.6) is less than the median (7), the distribution is negatively skewed.
