1. Meaning of Group Dynamics

Group Dynamics deals with with the attitude and various behavioural pattern of group. It is mainly concerned with how groups are formed , waht are their structure and how they function.It is applicable for all types of group that is Formal or Informal

2 Types of Group

There are two types of group which are further classified in different categories

1)FORMAL GROUP- Command Groups, Task Group ,Functional Group

2)INFORMAL GROUP-Interest, Friendship, Reference

3 Importance of Group Dynamism

1)EEFECT OF SYNERGY-A group can give the effect of synergy that is if the group is consisted of positive thinkers then it will give output more than double everytime.

2)JOB SATISFACTION- Group Dynamism can help in jib satisfaction among the members and thus it is one of the major importance of Group Dynamism.

3)MAXIMIZATION OF PRODUCTIVITY-If the members in the group work as a Cohesive group then the cooperation and convergence can result into maximisation of productivity.

4)IMPROVES ATTITUDE AND BEHAVIOUR-Groups help in accomplishing important task which improves organisation output and hence influences the attitude and behavior of the members of the group.

5)AVHIEVE MISSION AND VISION- Groups working together effectively and efficiently can achieve organisation Mission and Vision of the organisation.
