16) a) Tje composition of star can be determined by the analysis of its spectrum. Spectrum of all stars contains some bright and dark lines known as fraunhoffer lines. Farunhoffer lines are produced due to some absorption and emission of particular wavelengths by the elements present in star, and as we know each element can only absorb and emit some particular wavelengths hence by analysing spectrum of the star we can determine its composition.

Through the spectrum analysis of different stars it is found that mainly star contains some common elements like Hydrogen, Helium, Iron and Calcium.

b) Advantages:

1) Technological advances based on space industry expansion.

2) Essence and sense of mankind destiny if we are alone in the universe.

Disadvantages:

1) Risk to biosphere in case of rocket launching.

2) Extension of yhe military comptetion of the main powers to the space.

3) If there is some type II and type III civilizations, they can destroy us.
