As a parent/guardian, what do you think would be important to tell a child about puberty? Describe at least one thing you would explain from each of the following categories:
As a Guardian it a very important role to make children explain about puberty as it's a very difficult thing for a child especially female child to understand what is MENSES and PMS.
1) Physical changes - there are alot of physical changes a child goes through during puberty.
Physical changes depends on sex and there are some common changes
a) Male child - the changes are Change in voice, growth of Facial hairs(Beard and moustache), Increase in size of testes and penus
b) Female child - increase in size of breast, having menstruation
c) Common - are growth of pubic and axillary hairs
2) Psychological changes - this usually seen more in Female with a entity called PMS but it's also seen in male child
PMS is Pre menstrual symptoms - there are certain changes in female body like change in mood also called as mood swings, body aches etc and this are due to change in hormonal level at that time.
However in male it's important for them to make understand that getting attracyed towards other sex is natural and not need to be shy or hide about it also the urge to masturbate or night falls are normal.
3) Cognitive changes - There is alot of cognitive changes in both sex.
These are that the thinking becomes multidimensional, they now think as an individual rather than being dependent on parents, they now come to what is good to be done for them to go ahead with their life, they get the idea of what is helpful for them.
