Phenotype is a result of combination of genotype and enviromental effect.  The changes in chromosomes of an organism can lead to  changes in the body's systems and several problems like growth, development, and function of the system. It alters many genes and disrupt the proteins encoded by these genes. It can also effects  person's health. Gene activity and its expression is affected by changes in chromosomes refers to Epigenetics.
