1.Think about development, plasticity, and regeneration. For example, plasticity in neuronal systems is clearly evident in the developmental processes that occur and are required to have normal function as an adult. However, is the plasticity during development identical to the plasticity that is seen in adult neural systems after training or learning of specific skills? Also, is there any information that might be used from our understanding of what is happening during development that might provide

Neural Plasticity is a concept that refers to the brain’s continuous development whereas the regeneration refers to the brain’s ability to regenerate a new part in place of an injured part. As we grow and learn new concepts, our brain keep growing which is very similar to saving information by creating a new folder in the hard disk. All the new learning creates such spaces in the brain. Another important thing is that the brain can regenerate an injured part which is very amazing. Since each part of the brain is responsible for different functions, it’s very important that all the parts function effectively. Deficiency in the functioning would make the whole person dysfunctional. There is a drastic difference between the development of a child’s brain and an adult’s brain. A child’s brain is an empty sheet and anything can be written in it and this empty sheet is a default structure present in the child. An adult’s learning and accommodating information in the brain is like adding new sheets of paper while at the same time completing the existing space fully. Children would be learning some basic things that the brain is aware of but adults would be thinking, innovating and moving out of the expectations of the brain itself.
