Because the influenza pandemic during 918 - 1919 killed around 40 million peoples, that is more than that the people died in World war . It has been marked as the most devastating epidemic in recorded world history. It infected around 500 million people around the world.
2: What made this flu case different than most flu cases..?
The specific variant of the virus had an unusually aggressive nature. The virus is particularly deadly, because it triggers a cytokine storm which ravages the strongest immune system of young adults.

Birds are considered as a significant Pandemic threat. It was first detected in Guangdong, China in 1996.
2:What causes avian influenza..?
Type A strains of the influenza virus cause H5N1 avian flu.
3: Can the virus infect human..?
Yes they an infect humans. The virus transmission occur when human have contact with the infected bird, like when a person working closely with these birds, inhales dust particles contaminated with virus, contact with feces of infected bird, etc.. Birds as Turkey, Geese, Duck, Domestic chicken are come in contact with the virus from the food, water or particles infected with the virus. It also transfer when eating undercooked meat of infected bird.
