State sponsored attacks against businesses is a big threat for businesses and growth of the economy as a whole. Nation state sponsored attcks against businesses might be influenced by their respective state policies as it relates to separation of government and business. This leads to cut off of enterprises from the government.
The Fraud Triangle Theory comprises of three branches:
Pressure: Financial or emotional force pushing towards fraud.
Opportunity: Ability to execute plan without being caught.
Rationalization: Personal justification of dishonest actions.
Business managers need to consider many important points such as recognising the unethical people in the organization and also to recognise the external threats created by political parties and beaureaucrats. The main reason behind this is that a single minor threat may lead to heavy loss for the business. So it is necessary for the business risk managers to clearly identify these threats and overcome these challenges soon.
