Bike safety is important and everyone should take proper measures to avoid mishappening.

Topic sentence: Always wear a helmet.

Main Idea: Wearing a helmet is the single most effective way of reducing head injury and fatalities resulting from bike crashes, and in the event of a crash wearing a bicycle helmet reduces the risk of brain injury and head injury by as much as 85 - 88 %. Head injury and brain injury is the most fatal form of injury.

Main idea: Because of this very reason numerous mishappenings occur. Everyone should follow these rules to resolve this issue.

Should focus on following points --

1. How to ride safely in traffic by obeying traffic laws, and going with the traffic flow.

2. See and be seen, wearing bright clothes can reflect the light and are more visible to the other drivers.

3. Always make sure the tires of the bike have enough air in them and check the brakes.

4. Stay alert all the time, avoid distractions.

5. Put reflector on the front and back of the bike for safety while riding at night.

6. Always wear a helmet, and in case if the child feels odd because of wearing a helmet then make them decorate their helmet with colorful stickers or by drawing something on it.

7. Make sure to focus on the clothing as loose items of clothing can be stuck in the chain and lead to mishappenings.

8. Toddlers should always ride bikes in front of their homes and with parent's guidance and with properly wearing safety guards and helmet.

9. By making sure the person riding a bike is appropriate for them in terms of size and reachability of both foot to ground.

10. Always ride on the right side of the road in the same direction as to where cars are going.

11. Before crossing the intersection or street always look in all directions( right-left-right) to avoid accidents.

Evaluation:

1. By taking a questionnaire-based assessment in which, asking about the important traffic laws and what to check before riding a bike, etc.

2. By evaluating the existing knowledge of children about the importance of helmet use and other equipment.

3. By organizing a bike riding competition and evaluating the behavior and tactics of the riders while riding the bikes.

4. By making a mandatory to qualify training, of a week or two, to teach about the correct handling of the bike and about the various safety measures to take while riding a bike.
